VALLEJO GAME COLOR PAINT SET - USA / UK / GERMANY / CANADA / FRANCE Vallejo Metal Color are my favorite true metallic metal paints! The Army Painter Quickshades are a great tool to get some nice sheen to leathers, create some gory effects or just shade colors. Vallejo Game Color is a vibrant paint set and Model Color is a bit more muted in it’s colors. Instead I’ve made some suggestions on paint sets that i found great for beginners. But I won’t be listing every single paint i use. I’ve had great experiences with many different brands, like Vallejo, Citadel, Greenstuff Worlds, Scale 75 etc. I own hundreds of paints from different brands with different properties. Every time I have to film something outside of my painting studio or or doing hand held shots this is the microphone you hear my voice through. Incredibly easy to move around and place in different spaces. But it has an attractive price point and is incredibly easy to use and move around I am very pleased with what i get from it and it really helps me to see what the camera records when I paint my tutorials.įLEXIBLE TRIPOD - USA / UK / GERMANY / CANADA / FRANCE / SPAIN VILTROX DC70II EXTERNAL MONITOR - USA / UK / GERMANY / CANADA / FRANCE / SPAIN I do use this one for most of my painting shots and details shots - and for the still photos i take of minis after the video. The colors in this one is a step better than the M50, but it’s also a lot bigger and unfortunately lacks 4k. I’ve had it a couple of years in my normal business so it’s easy for me to use it in my videos. This camera is a bit more on the expensive side but it boasts a whopping 50 megapixel sensor. For filmning miniatures it’s great as well.ĬANON EOS 5DSR - USA / UK / CANADA / FRANCE / SPAIN I can strongly recommend this one for anyone who is shooting stuff where peoples faces are shown. A great “cheap” 4k camera - It’s so small and easy to carry around and the focus engine is ridiculous. The canon EOS M50 is the camera that I use for all the head shots as well as the hand held stuff. HARDER STEENBECK INFINITY CR+ 2-in-1 (top of the line)ĬANON EOS M50 - USA / UK / GERMANY / CANADA / FRANCE / SPAIN HARDER STEENBECK EVOLUTION SILVERLINE (mid priced) USA / UK / GERMANY / CANADA / FRANCE / SPAIN SPARMAX MAX 3 (good airbrush for beginners) For one who had an airbrush for a while and want to dig deeper, a 0.2mm airbrush is great. A 0.3 to 0.4 mm airbrush is great for beginners. Not a too cheap one that you cant use for small stuff, but also not a too expensive one with a small needle - because it’s easy to do something wrong with your first airbrush and thus breaking it. The first recommendation is that if it’s your first airbrush - buy a mid priced one. I’ve used a couple of different airbrushes through my painting and thus have a couple of different recommendations when it comes to airbrushes. It’s by no means a one tool fix all - but with the right use you can get some amazing results, effects and get some of your painting done faster. Airbrush is a fantastic tool for painting miniatures.
